There are 2 things you should know, I adore my toddler child, and I support my spouse's decision to be in the Reserves.

That said, it doesn't mean that I don't feel exhausted during those weekends. Especially, when my toddler refuses to nap and my spouse has to do more than his normal two days a month.

People will occasionally reach out to ask how I'm doing on those weekends and I always feel like saying,

I can't imagine that I'm the only military spouse who's proud AND a bit overwhelmed.
